JAMIE'S NEXT CHAPTER FULL STEAM GRACE was the answer I gave to a question my friend asked me one afternoon as I was walking home from my lunch shift at the restaurant. “How did you ever recover?” was the question that startled me. I froze for a moment and realized I had made it back from the other side. The side that led me to 2 DUI’s in two hours almost eight years ago. Yes, I have a history that is so colorful, that I barely survived my twenties. I remember overhearing an emergency room doctor at Duke University Hospital say to my nurse, there’s no hope for this one, he’ll be dead in a week. So when Chad (who was new to the program) asked me how I did it, I knew I hadn’t done it…God did. “I am living on full steam grace Chad, that’s how I am doing it.” This is how my debut album came to be named Full Steam Grace. (BTM music) I MUST WARN YOU!!! If you are uncomfortable with the words: God, Jesus, love, forgiveness, faith, peace, and beauty, put to music, NO MATTER THE CONTENT, then skip right past this album and check out my instrumental stuff. I make no apologies about my first project chronicling the tough road home from where I had ran. If you have ever been so sick inside your soul and felt like your guts were falling out when you cried, then you will be able to relate to the songs Calm My Storm, Don’t Give Up, or Have Faith. My prayer, is that if someone can see that God loves me through all my dumb decisions, than surely he could love them too. CEg Records has invited me to join their family on an EXCITING new disc entitled Close Your Eyes and Listen. This new record label graciously donates to charity every time one of their units is sold. My contribution is called Liberty’s Spirit. It is a song that seems to have a life of its own. I am very confident in CEg Records. MY NEXT PROJECT will be in either the Adult Contemporary, or Electronica genre. I am not abandoning my faith by moving into a more mainstream market. In fact, I feel led to explore the music I grew up on, and will continue to work on the surprising new instrumental style that I am developing. The song you hear on my main page is called Keeping Hope Alive. It’s less than a week old. I will definitely return to my Christian music heritage again someday down the road. For now I am excited about the doors that are opening for me. Thanks for visiting my website!
